James is one third of theatre collective paper/scissors/stone and resident designer for Charles Court Opera. Design highlights include The Girl in The Yellow Dress at Salisbury Playhouse, The Fantasist’s Waltz at York Theatre Royal, Matters of Life and Death UK dance tour, Many Moons at Theatre 503, Stockwell at The Tricycle, Marriage of Figaro at Wilton’s Music Hall, Saraband at Jermyn Street Theatre, Foxfinder and Trying at The Finborough, Girls and Dolls and Colourings at The Old Red Lion, Orpheus, The Barber (Unexpected Opera), Troy Boy for Merry Opera, Pirates and Pinafore at Buxton Opera House, and The Wonder at BAC. James created Story Whores.

Fiona Russell - Costume designer
Fi is a London based young Theatre Designer who works on both costume and set with equal enthusiasm. She also works in film and television as well as sourcing and making props. Fi’s training includes a first class honours degree in Scenography and Drama from The University of Wales Aberystwyth and a Post Graduate Diploma in Theatre Design from The London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art. Since graduating she has designed over 30 professional productions.
